This luxury ski chalet in Meribel is a fabulous bolthole for a large group of friends or family. The huge, open-plan living space is light and airy in the daytime, with panoramic views over to the mountains, and then at night time it’s transformed into a cosy mountain nook, with twinkling lights, capacious sofas to curl up in and a roaring fire.
The kitchen and dining areas are open plan to the living space so you can see your chef busy at work while you’re enjoying pre-dinner drinks and canapés and sitting around the contemporary table enjoying fabulous food, too.
In the mornings, the dining area is a wonderful spot to take breakfast, looking out at that awesome view – or take your coffee out onto the balcony to take in some of the mountain air too. There’s a combination to really wake you up!
The property is ideally situated close to the centre of town and a quick chauffeured drive from the main lifts, so whether you want to be out on the slopes first or simply head down into Meribel for a spot of cafe culture and people watching, you can always be whisked there in moments.
When you return from your morning’s activities, a delicious afternoon tea is laid out and waiting for you. Lashings of tea and coffee, home-baked cakes and breads, and even charcuterie and pickle platters will revive you and warm you through.
There’s just time for an hour or so in the hot tub and maybe an afternoon movie in the cinema room before it’s time to gather again for dinner.
When you retire to your bedrooms it’s to rich woods, fur throws and only the snuggliest of duvets and pillows. You’ll be asleep and dreaming of the snow within seconds.
