As contemporary and cool as it is welcoming and warm, Chalet S is a little different to your typical luxury ski chalet.

Striking and modern pieces of furniture sit comfortably in the traditional wood building and eclectic pieces of décor give the property a real sense of character and fun, with just a sprinkling of party atmosphere about it.

The spacious communal areas, such as the open-plan living space with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on the mountains ensure there is plenty of room for everyone to relax together after the day’s skiing is done. And if the kids (or the big kids!) want to escape for a while the games room, home cinema and fitness suite offer plenty of scope for that too. There’s even a Jacuzzi where you can ease slopes-weary legs, while enjoying a glass of something bubbly from the bar.

Each night as you retire to one of the cosy wood-clad bedrooms and sink into soft sheets, you’ll be assured of a good night’s rest ready for another packed day in the morning.

Location

This luxury ski chalet is located just 100 metres from the centre of Courchevel 1550 and 200 metres from the ski lifts, slopes and ski school.

Skis can be kept at the ski shop at the bottom of the slopes, a 5 minutes walk from this luxury ski chalet and it is possible to organise in-chalet ski and boot fitting for an additional cost.

The nearest airports are Chambery and Grenoble, both of which are approximately 2 hour’s drive, whilst Geneva is just over 2h 30m away.

Eating

An impressive continental breakfast is served in the chalet each morning, including regional specialities and using fresh, local produce.

If you wish to eat in your chalet more often you can also hire a private chef by the day or week. Whether you want five-course gourmet dinners or simple raclettes and other typical ski fodder to eat in a less formal setting, your chef will be able to arrange it for you.

However, if you prefer to cook for yourselves, there is a well-equipped kitchen which keen cooks will love.

Alternatively the restaurants and bars of Courchevel 1550 are just a few steps away.
