Perched next door to, and as part of, the Rodella Hotel, with its fabulous restaurant, spa, massage treatment rooms and indoor/outdoor swimming pool, Chalet Sellaronda has all the amenities you could wish for on your doorstep. The swimming pool is directly connected to the chalet through a connecting door just for chalet guests’ use, so you’ll be back in moments when pre-dinner drinks are served.

But for those times when you just need a little peace and quiet, the chalet also has private spa facilities of its own with an outdoor hot tub and sauna, as well as its own communal areas where you and your party can gather together in the evenings to catch up on all the day’s adventures in private.

The rustic-modern interiors with light woods and neutral fabrics provide a relaxing backdrop for your week in the mountains. A roaring fire sits at the heart of the property, with large sofas gathered all around. Nearby is an intimate dining area, beneath a statement chandelier; the perfect spot for a leisurely meal with good friends and good conversation, and also a bar.

Each of the luxury bedrooms is designed with your complete relaxation in mind, with a pared-back minimalist look. No need for fancy artworks here; the windows from every bedroom offer fabulous views of the village and the Sella Massif beyond. Simply stunning.

Location

Chalet Sellaronda is a luxury ski chalet in Selva de Gardena, located to make the most of all the Dolomites have to offer and with plenty of skiing opportunities on your doorstep.

The property is only a 3 minute drive from the Col Raiser cable car, 4 minutes to the Ciampinoi lift, and 6 minutes to the Dantercepies cable car station.

Selva village is also a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk away. The property has its own in-resort shuttle service (available during winter season), so you can always get to wherever you want to be in the resort.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck, approximately 1 hour 40 mins away. Verona Airport is approximately 2 hours drive.

Eating

You’ll be in the safe hands of your private chef and butler to cater for all your needs for the duration of your at Chalet Sellaronda. On arrival, Prosecco and canapés await to start things on the right note.

Each morning, you’ll wake to a generous breakfast buffet with hot dishes of your choice to set you up for your skiing day. When you return from the slopes, afternoon tea is laid out waiting for you to warm you through and keep you going until dinner time.

On six evenings, your chef and butler will serve drinks before a five-course evening meal. A cheese and wine tasting can be arranged in the hotel’s wine cave one evening, so you can sample some of the best local specialities and south Tyrolean wines.

On staff’s night off, they will be happy to help you with bookings for local restaurants. We particularly like Nives and Suinsom, both nearby, and of course the Hotel Rodella is adjoining the chalet, which has its own delightful restaurant.

For summer rental, Chalet Sellaronda is offered on a bed & breakfast basis. Evening meals can be booked in the hotel restaurant at additional cost.

Kids

Children of all ages will enjoy spending time in the indoor/outdoor swimming pool that’s shared with the Hotel Rodella’s spa but is easily accessible from Chalet Sellaronda.

There’s lots of open space in which to play, both inside and out, too. There’s an entertainment and cinema room where they might enjoy a movie night while the adults linger over a meal.

The chalet’s staff are always on hand to ensure everything goes without a hitch and that families have everything they need to make their holiday as stress free as possible.
