Alpine style was never cosier than in this delightful self-catered mountain retreat. The chalet’s elevated position provides stunning views of the Petit and Grand Combin mountain ranges, as well as the twinkling lights of Verbier below.

Wood cladding and slubby tweed and faux-fur cushions on the comfy sofas and soft leather armchairs make the living area a really cosy place to relax with friends. Draw your chair a little closer to the roaring fire in the evenings and sit back and catch up on the day’s events over your favourite tipple.

After enjoying some of the best skiing in the world, and some of the best food in Verbier, you’ll be pleased to fall into bed each night. All of the bedrooms are decked out in Alpine style and are super-cosy, too.

And when you wake in the morning, make sure you’re first out on the balcony to grab the best spot on the outdoor sofa with your coffee and breathe in that mountain air. There’s no finer way to greet the day.

Please note that the stairs have a low beam.

You’ll begin your stay here in the manner to which you’ll become accustomed, with champagne and plenty of canapés.

Each morning, breakfast is served in the dining room, with hot options, accompanied by a selection of fruits, yoghurts, mueslis and freshly baked breads with jam.

When you return from skiing each afternoon, you’ll find afternoon tea waiting for you, with lots of hot drinks, cakes and pastries to recharge you after your ski session.

Each evening, champagne and canapés are served while your chef prepares a sumptuous dinner for you, served in the dining room. If there are any likes or dislikes among your party, or family favourites that you’d like to see on the menu, your chef will be only too pleased to help. A locally inspired cheeseboard is served to round the evening off.

Dinner is always complemented by a selection of hand-picked house wines to go with your meal. Again, if there are any particular wines you are a fan of, just make it known before your arrival and the staff can arrange to have those available to you. There is also beer, soft drinks and selected house spirits available throughout your stay at this luxury ski chalet.

Please note on your chef’s day off, there will be no dinner service. A continental breakfast and afternoon tea will be pre-prepared and left for you and your concierge service will be happy to arrange restaurant reservations for the evening.

The high level of service here makes this a good chalet for families with small children. A 24-hour in-resort driver service will make getting to and from the lifts and centre of Verbier a breeze with little ones in tow.

Slightly older children will love sharing the quad bunk room with its chunky wood beds.

Childcare is available on request, and your chef will be happy to cook children an early evening tea so that they’re under no pressure to ‘behave’ and you can enjoy a more relaxed and civilised meal later on.

Cots and highchairs are also available.
