Inside Chalet Xanadu, you’ll find an elegant and homely Scandi-inspired space that’s perfect for families and groups of friends. The rooms, all flooded with sunlight and kitted out in a boho-chic décor, are set over six levels, with plenty of little nooks for quiet time and a generous open-plan living area where everyone can gather by the roaring fire after a day on the slopes. Sink into a comfy cream sofa and look forward to drinks and canapés served in this toasty spot before your chef dishes up fine-dining four-course dinners.

Up on the third floor, Chalet Xanadu’s wellness area, featuring a sauna and shower, is topped off with an inviting outdoor hot tub out on the stone-walled terrace. After a busy day, grab a cold bottle of Champagne and ease weary muscles in the warm waters under the stars.

Six stylish and cosy bedrooms offer plenty of flexibility, with five super-king rooms (three of which can be split into twins if you require) and a bunk room sleeping eight. Sleek en-suites, plush bed linens and fluffy towels all add to the luxury ski holiday experience.

Location

Chalet Xanadu sits in a great spot on the sunny side of Morzine. It’s just a 10-15-minute walk to the suspension bridge where you can cross over to the town’s restaurants and bars and the Super Morzine lift.

With a 24hr in-resort driver service included during the ski season, your group can easily get around Morzine and Les Gets.

Geneva airport take around 1 hour 20 minutes drive away.

Eating

Your private chef and chalet host are on hand during your stay at Chalet Xanadu, making sure tummies are always full and glasses always topped up.

Each morning, enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows to sunny mountain views. A Nespresso machine ensures a proper coffee fix before you head out onto the mountain. When you return to the chalet after a fun few hours outdoors, you’ll be greeted by the welcome sight of afternoon tea.

Evenings begin with mouth-watering pre-dinner canapés served by the huge fireplace. The main event each night is a chef-prepared four-course dinner to rival any fine-dining restaurant, with menus designed around your preferences. Naturally, complimentary Champagne, wine, spirits, beers and soft drinks are provided.

Breakfast and afternoon tea are included each day. Canapés and dinner are served five days a week, so on two days you will have the opportunity to explore Morzine’s excellent restaurant scene – just ask your concierge to help with recommendations and reservations.

If travelling with little ones, your chef will be happy to prepare an earlier children’s tea on five evenings.

Kids

This luxury chalet has been designed with families in mind and comes with a host of extras that kids will love. Up on the top floor, the secret den is the stuff of childhood dreams. They can have hours of fun playing games and reading new books, and if extra space is needed, can even spend the night up there as an additional sleeping area.

The TV snug, tucked around the corner from the main lounge, comes with Netflix and Amazon, so it’s a great spot for movie nights. For the ultimate sleepovers, get all the kids together in their own bunk room with an en-suite bathroom with a handy low-height sink for kids.

If you’ve got fearless kids in tow, head for Lil’stash at the Stash Avoriaz, where they can take on freestyle experiences in a safe environment. And for non-ski activities, Morzine offers sledging and an excellent aquatic fun park.
