The double-height living room, decorated in a neutral palette and warm wood tones to bring the scheme to life and classic but contemporary furniture pieces that bring an understated elegance to the room. Collapse in the smart, capacious sofas by the fireplace and catch up on all the adventures everyone has had during the day. Just off the living area is a balcony, which has wonderful views of the valley and mountains.
Adjacent, there’s a sophisticated dining area that seats 12 where you’ll be happy to linger in long into the evening, chatting over excellent food and fine wines under the twinkling lights. Indeed, the whole living space is completely transformed in the evening from a light and airy space to a cosy retreat, sparkling with candlelight.
If you feel in need of a bit of pampering, pop into the sauna to warm through every slopes–weary muscle in your body and find your mojo again for the evening’s fun. A separate home cinema room also provides a space for children to watch movies while the adults catch up before dinner, or a cosy place to unwind after food with a film all together.

Chalet Zanskar’s private chef is on hand to ensure you are well fed and watered during your luxury ski holiday.
To set up you up for a day on the slopes, breakfast includes a range of cereals, breads and fruit along with cooked options on five mornings. After your day’s skiing, you’ll come back to the welcoming sight of afternoon tea waiting for you.
On five evenings, kick back and warm yourselves by the fire while your chef puts together a spectacular 4-course evening meal and your host tops up your bubbly. If you have any likes, dislikes or requests your chef will be happy to incorporate them to ensure that each day’s menu is a delight for everyone in your party.
Your chef can put together a special tea for any children in the party so that no one needs to be on their best behaviour and any little ones are tucked up by the time the champagne corks pop and the canapés are served.
You’ll have two evenings to sample the local restaurants on staff days off and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Family-friendly
Children are given a warm welcome at Chalet Zanskar and the staff will do all they can to make life easier for those travelling with children. Items such as cots and highchairs can be arranged as well as nannies and babysitters.
After a busy day at ski school, they can enjoy a quiet evening tucked away in the home cinema room for a movie night for indoor downtime.
The children’s quad bunk room will give them their own space to retreat to. All of the other bedrooms can be converted into twins, making the property ideal when travelling with lots of children.

Chalet Zanskar is located in the charming village of St. Martin de Belleville, part of the vast 3 Valleys ski area.
The village centre and slopes are a short walk away or a two minute chauffeured drive.
The nearest airport is Chambery at 1h 55m drive, Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are all approximately 2h 30m away.
