Floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in and doors lead out onto the balcony where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views from the hot tub.
If you need a little time to yourself, escape to the TV snug to curl up with a film, or to the private spa, with sauna, Hammam shower and a relaxation area. On the ground floor of the building, there is also a gym with Peloton treadmill and bike if you want to burn off some more energy post-ski.
At the end of each day, retreat to the carefully designed en-suite bedrooms, each of which has its own charming little extras to make it special, from private terraces to cosy seating areas. Sweet dreams and more adventures to come in the morning await.

For those wanting to self-cater, the light, fully-equipped kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm and the property also features a stunning dining area where you and your party can spend long evenings enjoying good food and fine wines.
If you prefer a catered holiday, you’ll be welcomed with drinks and canapés on arrival day. Cooked breakfast is offered five mornings with self-service continental breakfast on the chef’s 2 days off. Daily afternoon tea with home made cakes will be waiting on your return from the slopes. On five evenings, your private chef will prepare a stunning 3-course dinner accompanied by red and white wine.

Family-friendly
La Gelinotte is a luxury family-friendly ski chalet and makes the perfect base, for anyone travelling with children, to explore Val d’Isere.
The open-plan areas provide plenty of space to play, and there’s also a cosy traditional bunk room to sleep three children, with beautiful wooden stairs ascending to the top bunk and a desk area for reading, colouring or Lego-building. They can also hide away in the TV snug with a film whenever they need to escape the grown-ups.
Your concierge will be happy to help with booking ski lessons, activities and any childcare you need.
Location & Distances
This luxury ski property in Val d’Isère is situated in the exclusive Petite Alaska area, on the edge of the town itself. It’s a three-minute drive or 10 minutes on foot to both the centre of town and the Bellevarde and Solaise ski lifts.
The nearest airport is Chambery, 2 hours away. Geneva airport is approximately 3 hours away.
