Floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in and doors lead out onto the balcony where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views from the hot tub.
If you need a little time to yourself, escape to the TV snug to curl up with a film, or to the private spa, with sauna, Hammam shower and a relaxation area. On the ground floor of the building, there is also a gym with Peloton treadmill and bike if you want to burn off some more energy post-ski.
At the end of each day, retreat to the carefully designed en-suite bedrooms, each of which has its own charming little extras to make it special, from private terraces to cosy seating areas. Sweet dreams and more adventures to come in the morning await.
Location & Distances
This luxury ski property in Val d’Isère is situated in the exclusive Petite Alaska area, on the edge of the town itself. It’s a three-minute drive or 10 minutes on foot to both the centre of town and the Bellevarde and Solaise ski lifts.
The nearest airport is Chambery, 2 hours away. Geneva airport is approximately 3 hours away.

You’ll be welcomed with drinks when you arrive, and each morning starts with a delicious breakfast before you head out onto the slopes. When you get back, there’ll be afternoon tea waiting for you.
In the evenings, it’s completely up to you. You can enjoy a relaxed night in and self-cater in the chalet, or head out and try some of the fantastic restaurants in Val d’Isère.
If you’d rather take it easy, a private chef can be arranged on request, so you can enjoy a delicious dinner in the comfort of your chalet without having to lift a finger.

La Gelinotte is a luxury family-friendly ski chalet and makes the perfect base for anyone travelling with children to explore Val d’Isere.
The open-plan areas provide plenty of space to play, and there’s also a cosy traditional bunk room to sleep three children, with beautiful wooden stairs ascending to the top bunk and a desk area for reading, colouring or Lego-building. They can also hide away in the TV snug with a film whenever they need to escape the grown-ups.
