The communal spaces form the heart of La Gelinotte: a laid-back living area with comfy sofas and a roaring fire, fully kitted-out kitchen and a beautiful dining space where you can gather with friends to enjoy local ingredients. Floor-to-ceiling windows let the light flood in and doors lead out onto the balcony where you can enjoy the stunning mountain views from the hot tub.
If you need a little time to yourself, escape to the TV snug to curl up with a film, or to the private spa, with sauna, Hammam shower and a relaxation area. On the ground floor of the building, there is also a gym with Peloton treadmill and bike if you want to burn off some more energy post-ski.
At the end of each day, retreat to the carefully designed en-suite bedrooms, each of which has its own charming little extras to make it special, from private terraces to cosy seating areas. Sweet dreams and more adventures to come in the morning await.
This luxury ski property in Val d’Isère is situated in the exclusive Petite Alaska area, on the edge of the town itself. It’s a three-minute drive or 10 minutes on foot to both the centre of town and the Bellevarde and Solaise ski lifts.

The open-plan areas provide plenty of space to play, and there’s also a cosy traditional bunk room to sleep three children, with beautiful wooden stairs ascending to the top bunk and a desk area for reading, colouring or Lego-building. They can also hide away in the TV snug with a film whenever they need to escape the grown-ups.
