About Shemshak Lodge, Courchevel 1850
Shemshak Lodge is a beautifully finished chalet with a large open plan living/dining area and a wonderful open fireplace at its centre. The picture windows give stunning views of the mountain peaks and guests can watch skiers glide down the slopes from this ski-in/ski-out luxury chalet. A top London designer has given the chalet an alpine-chic edge with luxurious materials and elegant furnishings.
The icing on the cake is its position. Shemshak Lodge is close to the centre of Courchevel 1850 as well as being right on the piste. Guests can ski directly from the door to explore the huge 3 Valleys ski area with ease.
Downstairs there is an entire floor dedicated to relaxation, with a superb large indoor swimming pool, an indoor Jacuzzi, a sauna and Hammam – just the thing to soothe those aching muscles. And if you haven’t pushed yourself hard enough, there is also a gym packed with state-of-the-art equipment.
Shemshak Lodge sleeps up to thirteen guests in five lovely bedrooms. Finished in soft tones and cool greys the rooms have an understated, yet stylish look, and all have en-suite bathrooms.
For entertainment, this luxury ski chalet features Sky TV, and Apple TV plus a Kaleidescape media system as well as plenty of games, books and toys.
The professional team of staff will take care of every detail, with your butler acting as your private concierge – lift passes brought to you while you relax, a chauffeur to pick you up from town if you don’t fancy skiing back and delicious homemade cakes after each day’s skiing. The service is superb and nothing is too much trouble for the friendly team to make sure your stay is perfect.

Catering
A private chef will ensure every meal is one to look forward to and that you are always well fed throughout your stay at Shemshak Lodge.
Each morning, you’ll wake up to the wonderful aromas of breakfast to set you up nicely for a day’s skiing. When you’re home, afternoon tea is laid out ready with freshly baked treats to restore your energy when you return from the slopes.
In the evenings, gather round the fire with your friends for pre-dinner drinks as your chef puts the finishing touches to your evening meal. Any personal likes, dislikes and dietary requirements can be taken into consideration and early children’s tea can also be arranged if required.

You’ll have one evening to sample the local restaurants of Courchevel on staff’s day off and your butler will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Perfect for kids, the large indoor swimming pool at Shemshak Lodge will be a huge hit with children, young and old.
The Kaleidescape entertainment system with a library of movies, plus toys, games and books will keep them entertained in the evenings and the driver service and ski-in/ski-out location will keep logistics easy and hassle-free.
One of the bedrooms has two bunk beds, which kids will love to make their own at this luxury ski chalet.
Cots and high chairs available on request as well as nannies and babysitters.
Location & Distances
Shemshak Lodge enjoys a fantastic ski-in/ski-out location on the Plantrey piste. The centre of Courchevel 1850 is a ten minute walk or a few minutes chauffeured drive away.
The nearest airport is Chambery, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive, whilst Grenoble and Lyon airports are approximately 2 hours 15 minutes and Geneva airport is 2 hours 20 minutes drive away.
There is also an altiport in Courchevel 1850 for those travelling by helicopter or private jet.
