The heart of the property is the beautiful outdoor saltwater swimming pool – just like swimming in the sea – with a tanning deck incorporated into it, and a shady pool bar and barbecue dining space adjacent. The whole area feels utterly private and you’ll find you can spend all day relaxing here, taking in the scents of the tropical garden and the sound of the waves not far away.
If wellbeing is top of your agenda, you can enjoy yoga in Tara House’s own open -pavilion or perhaps some time in the ocean-view private gym, followed by a relaxing time in the infrared sauna and a cool open-air shower to set you up for the day.
Should you wish to, you’re welcome to enjoy the private beach club, Rico’s, nearby, where you can make the most of your own stretch of white sands and the club’s top notch service.

Tara House is set in the St Peter’s area of Barbados. The shops and restaurants of Speightstown are not far away and the area is spoiled for beautiful white-sand beaches.
It’s 35 minutes by taxi to Grantley Adams International airport, Barbados’s only airport.

The villa has a total of four dining areas, with spaces both inside and out to eat, as well as a poolside barbecue area for relaxed meals outdoors.

Children of all ages will be in their element at Tara House. There’s plenty of space in the house to play and extensive gardens in which to burn off energy.
The saltwater private swimming pool is a highlight for most kids and there’s a pool house with bar nearby so it’s easy for parents to keep an eye on little ones. Indoors, the great room has a reading nook and games table for moments when you need a little shade.
Guests of the property have access to Rico’s beach club where there’s always a lounger and a beautiful beach to play on.
One of the four bedrooms can be configured as a twin room for two children to share.
