With all the comforts of a private luxury ski chalet and all the convenience of a boutique hotel, Apartment Fornet is the perfect combination. This luxury ski apartment in Val d’Isère is one of four private apartments that sit within the exclusive Hotel Le Val d’Isère, offering you hotel service alongside plenty of home comforts, in a cosy apartment for six.
The hotel is nestled in the very heart of Val d’Isère, just two minutes’ walk from the snow front and within moments of all the town’s shops, bars and restaurants, so there’s plenty to explore, and the hotel staff will be happy to arrange adventures and excursions, such as snow-shoeing and ice-skating, further afield.
However, you’ll find it hard to drag yourself away from the hotel’s wonderful spa facilities, including indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, Hammam and wellness rooms, and the pretty and cheerily kitsch Cafe Val d’Isère. As well as enjoying your included breakfast here, you are welcome to enjoy other meals, snacks and aprés ski in the hotel’s own eaterie.
Harder yet is to leave the beautifully designed Apartment Fornet, Val d’Isère, itself, which is decorated in modern-Alpine style, with lots of rustic woods, natural linens and faux furs. The main living space is made up of an inviting ‘snug’ style lounge area, with U-shaped seating arrangement, squishy cushions and a TV in one corner. Nearby is a comfortable dining area, where you can share good food and fine wines with friends, and a contemporary kitchen with all the gadgetry you could need.
End each day by falling into comfy cotton sheets in one of the cozy bedrooms, each designed to guarantee a good night’s sleep.
