A cosy dining area sits adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen so you and your party can cook and eat together and then sit for hours over some excellent local food and wine.

Should you be hoping for some serious rest and relaxation while you’re here, you’re also well catered for. There is a shared wellness area with whirlpool baths, a steam room and sauna, as well as a luxurious relaxation area, all designed to soothe any aches and pains picked up on the slopes. And each of the bedrooms is designed with your total comfort in mind, to include bathrobes, hair dryers and luxury bath products, making each a little bolthole of its own whenever you need to relax both body and mind. Two of the bedrooms have access to private south-facing balconies, both of which have fabulous Matterhorn views.

All the practicalities are catered for, too. A ski room with heated boot racks and ski storage makes life easy when you trudge back in from the snow. There’s also a Miele washing machine and tumbler to get clothes clean and dry whenever you need them. And don’t forget, anything you need can be arranged with the help of the chalet’s concierge, from booking restaurant tables and ski school to arranging shopping and childcare.
