Part of the re-development of the renowned Hotel l’Avancher in the Residence Myrtille, Apartment Tournesol is one of five privately owned luxury properties and offers ski-in accommodation. You’ll get a real sense of history as you amble through the village past historic timber buildings and around the beautiful village church. But you’ll enjoy up-to-the minute contemporary comfort at this luxury ski chalet.

Timber framing, stunning views and rustic furniture peppered with luxe fabrics and urban style lighting create the ultimate in modern alpine cool.

After a day on the slopes, you can glide directly home to the front door. Each morning, you’ll have a short stroll to the bottom of the Solaise lift to access the pistes.

There’s a handy ski and boot locker by the building’s entrance, along with a utility room for storing your ski gear at this luxury ski chalet. Once you’ve changed into something more comfortable, such as the complimentary bathrobes and slippers, you can relax in the open plan living and dining area, leading to your own private terrace. It’s the ideal spot for a sundowner or three as you enjoy views of the iconic La Face piste.

Apartment Tournesol is ideally located just a five minute stroll from the heart of old Val d’Isere and approximately 10 minutes walk from the Solaise ski lift. When you return in the afternoons, you can ski directly back to this luxury ski chalet’s front door.

Chambery airport is approximately 2 hours drive away whilst Geneva is approximately 3 hours away.

The chalet’s kitchen is well-equipped for wannabe Jamie Olivers, and for your convenience the fridge can be pre-stocked with all your favourites, on request.

For evenings when you don’t feel like putting on your apron, your dedicated concierge can arrange for fresh a la carte meals to be delivered directly to the chalet. Just order your menu choices with them the day before.
