Ideally situated on the Moretta piste with ski-in/ski-out access, Chalet Ecritoire is perfect for snow bunnies who don’t want to waste a moment indoors when they could be exploring the 3 Valleys.

Once you’ve trudged back home after an exhilarating day on the slopes, you’ll find plenty at your luxury chalet to keep everyone in your party busy. Relax with a drink in the outdoor hot tub, sneak off and unwind in the sauna or simply gather with friends by the fire to discuss the highlights of your days and make plans for tomorrow.

There’s a separate TV/games room which is ideal for children to use as their den, as a breakout zone for adults looking for a quiet moment to themselves or somewhere to relax in front of an afternoon film.

After dinner, take a nightcap out onto the balcony to experience the best of the mountain air and the heady smell of the pine forests, before turning in for the night to the comfy en-suite bedrooms, where we guarantee you’ll have sweet dreams.

Location

Chalet Ecritoire is a real ski lover’s chalet, perfectly positioned right by the Moretta piste with ski-in/ski-out access. From here, it’s a 50 metres ski down to the main gondola whisking you up to explore the vast 3 Valleys.

The centre of La Tania with its shops, bars and restaurants is a short stroll away although an in-resort driver service is also at your disposal.

Grenoble and Chambery airports are both less than 2 hours’ drive away whilst Geneva is just over 2hrs drive.

Rooms

Chalet Ecritoire sleeps 10 guests across five bedrooms.

Bedrooms 1 & 2:
Double/twin bedrooms on first floor with en-suite bathrooms and shared balcony.

Bedrooms 3 & 4:
Double/twin bedrooms on first floor with en-suite shower rooms.

Bedroom 5:
Double/twin bedroom on ground floor with en-suite shower room.

Eating

When it comes to dining during your stay at Chalet Ecritoire, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the company of family and friends while your private chef gets busy in the kitchen.

Mornings start in style, with a selection of buffet plus freshly cooked breakfast to set you up nicely for a day on the slopes. On staff days off, a buffet breakfast will be provided. Later, when you return from a day on the slopes, afternoon tea with homemade cakes will be waiting for you.

In the evenings, drinks and canapés are served as you gather on the comfortable sofas while the chef prepares dinner on five evenings. You’ll also enjoy complimentary drinks including a choice of 18 wines and bubbly selected by Verre Gourmand, plus an open bar with beer, soft drinks and Nespresso coffee.

Your chef will also be happy to prepare early children’s tea with kiddy friendly meals, so you can have them all full up and tucked up in bed by the time canapés are served.

You’ll have two evenings a week to sample the local restaurants and your chalet hosts will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids

Chalet Ecritoire is in an ideal location when it comes to keeping the kids happy. Not only are you close to the centre of the action – walking distance from shops and activities, but you are right on the piste and 50 metres’ ski from the main gondola. This means that there’s no hassle getting your children to their ski lessons, or getting them home again quickly when they are tired, cold and hungry.

Within the chalet, there are several areas where the kids can make themselves at home whilst the adults have a little grown-up time. The main living floor has two seating areas where you can keep a close eye, as well as the separate TV and games room downstairs which is equipped with a table football and media centre with films & games.

The chalet staff make everything easy for families, organising everything on your behalf, even down to transporting the kids to and from their ski lessons. Equipment such as cots and highchairs can be provided and childcare can be arranged on request.
