About Chalet La Face, Val d’Isère
Modern alpine style gives this comfy and quirky property a unique feel. Chalet La Face is a luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère, in a prime location close to the centre of town, just steps from the ski lift.
The modern yet rustic living room on the top floor has fabulous views out of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Faux fur pouffes and a roaring fire make it the ideal spot to cosy up after a day on the slopes, with a few friends and a glass of bubbly. The dining area, adjacent, has a statement lighting piece and flickering candles, giving your evening meals a truly welcoming atmosphere.
On your return from the slopes each day, head down to the indoor swimming pool and Hammam for some pampering before getting changed for dinner. Chalet staff will be on hand to ensure there are always fluffy towels on tap and your drink is always kept topped up.
Each of the comfy bedrooms has its own en-suite shower room, and all are set up to provide you with a quiet retreat from the world – somewhere to recharge your batteries ready for another full day of skiing and partying Val d’Isère style.

Catering
When booking Chalet La Face, you can decide if you’d prefer a catered service or opt for bed & breakfast. The choice is up to you.
When taken on a catered basis, you private chef will be on hand to ensure everyone’s needs and whims are catered to during your stay. Each morning will start with freshly cooked breakfast to set you up for the day, and you’ll return home to afternoon tea.
On five evenings, pre-dinner aperitifs is served before your gourmet dinner. At additional cost, wine pairing can be arranged with your evening meal to enhance your dining experience. You’ll then have two evenings on staff days off to explore the wonderful selection of restaurants in Val d’Isère.
If trying local restaurants on two evenings simply isn’t enough, or if you have a keen cook in the group, taking Chalet La Face on a bed & breakfast is a wonderful option. A continental breakfast is provided each morning, ideal for a more relaxed start to the day, and afternoon tea laid out to see you through until dinner.
Your chalet manager will be delighted to help recommend restaurants and make bookings, whether for dinner reservations or lunch on the mountain.

Bedrooms one and two

Double/twin bedroom on the first floor; en-suite shower room with separate WC.
For larger groups and subject to availability, Chalet La Face can be rented along with Chalet Papillon, together accommodating up to 20 guests. The two properties are connected via the garage.
Family-friendly
Children are given a warm welcome and extremely well catered for at Chalet La Face.
Being close to town centre and the ski lifts is another big plus for families staying here, so there’s no excuse for being late for ski school. Post slopes, there is plenty to keep youngsters entertained here too. Perhaps a splash in the indoor pool, supper and then a movie and hot chocolates?
Cost and highchairs can be provided for smaller guests and childcare can be arranged on request.

Chalet La Face has a fabulous location in the centre of Val d’Isère. The property is just a 2 minute walk from the Bellevarde Express Lift.
The nearest airports are Chambery, just under 2 hour’s drive and Geneva and Lyon, both of which are approximately 3 hours away.
