Great for socialising as well as total relaxation, Chalet La Tene is practically perfect in every way. Brand new for winter 2025 season, this luxury ski-in/ski-out chalet offers the best of both worlds, whether you’re in search of peace and quiet or party people.

The top floor living space is the heart of Chalet La Tene. Flooded with light from the double-height windows, the spacious sofa area is great for reading the papers, catching up with friends, or simply sitting with a drink and watching skiers glide past your chalet. In the evenings, you might like to try the cocktails at the beautiful bar area, then wander over to the intimate dining space where you’ll enjoy gourmet meals, designed by your chef. This floor is also home to a large terrace with fire pit and a heated deck for cosy star-gazing and marshmallow-toasting sessions.

The lower floors are dedicated to sleeping and entertainment. Each of the light, bright bedrooms has access to a private or shared balcony and two outdoor hot tubs stand on the balcony of this floor to help you soothe any weary limbs picked up on the slopes.

Below is a wonderful spa area, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and indoor Jacuzzi; everything you need to feel good inside and out. Otherwise, slip into something comfortable and pop into the cinema room to relax in front of a film. However you choose to spend your time at Chalet La Tene you’ll be making memories to last a lifetime.

Location

Chalet La Tene is a luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère, set in the quiet La Legettaz area and right by the Santons piste for ski-in/ski-out access.

Its location benefits from the peace of being a little out of the centre but is still within a 10-12 minute walk or just a 2 minute chauffeured drive.

The nearest airport is Chambery, 2hrs away or Geneva airport is 3hrs away.

Eating

Good food and fine wines are a cornerstone of life at Chalet La Tene.

A delicious and filling breakfast is served each morning to set you up for the day ahead, and when you return home from the snow, afternoon tea is waiting to refuel you.

Pre-dinner canapés and a gourmet 4-course dinner is served on six nights out of seven. Your professional chef will design a creative menu for you for the week, using local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, and taking into account any dietary needs or special requests you may have.

Your evening meal is accompanied by thoughtfully selected house wines and there’s an open bar for spirits and soft drinks. And then there’s the wine cave, crammed with a superb collection of fine wines from the best French vineyards (at additional cost). You can choose your own, or ask the chef for a recommendation to complement dinner.

Your chef will also be happy to prepare dedicated children’s meals designed to please younger palates.

On the staff night off, you’ll be able to explore some of the excellent eateries in Val d’Isère. Your host will be delighted to make recommendations or bookings for local restaurants.

Kids

This family-friendly luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère has plenty to keep little ones busy. Located right by the piste with ski-in/ski-out access, getting out each day with children is a doddle.

When they’re not out in the snow, the cinema room is the perfect place for them to chill out and watch a movie matinee with popcorn. Or if they still have energy to burn, they can splash in the private swimming pool.

Come bedtime, they’ll enjoy their own four-berth bunk room. The other bedrooms can also be set up as twins, giving family groups plenty of flexibility.
