About Chalet Sarire, Val d’Isère

Chalet Sarire has an expansive living area, and separate dining space, all furnished in a contemporary, cosy style, which is perfect for entertaining. The staircase takes you up to the bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms, stocked with fluffy towels and toiletries.
Located in the pretty village of Le Fornet at the top of the valley, yet only five minutes from the centre of Val d’Isère, you are never far from the action. Roll out of bed in the mornings as the sun peeks over the mountains and let yourself be pampered with a hearty breakfast. You can stroll to the nearby cable car or be driven by the chauffeur. What a great start to the day.
When you return the smell of delicious home baked cakes, served with refreshing drinks will be there to welcome you. After, you might like to relax in the hot tub on the deck with a couple of friends or simply lounge by the fireside with a good book in the knowledge that everything will be taken care of.
The team at Chalet Sarire offer a friendly and bespoke service and are there to make your holiday run like clockwork. Whatever you wish, from a babysitter to massages it can be arranged. Just enjoy your time with friends and family, and take in the fabulous views from Chalet Sarire’s terrace. With a fragrant pine forest to one side and the snow-capped roofs of Val d’Isère on the other, you will feel on top of the world.
Location & Distances
Chalet Sarire is located in the charming hamlet of Le Fornet, on the outskirts of the main Val d’Isére resort.
Although the nearest Le Fornet gondola is a short walk away, a scheduled in-resort driver service (8am–11am & 4pm–7pm excl. Thur) is available for added convenience.
Chambery airport is just under 2 hours drive and Geneva Airport is approximately 3 hours drive away.
Bedrooms & Layout
Chalet Sarire sleeps 14 adults + 2 children across seven bedrooms.
Bedroom 1:
Master double/twin bedroom on first floor plus a set of bunk beds, en-suite bathroom with WC and private balcony.
Bedrooms 2 & 3:
Double/twin bedrooms on first floor with shared shower room and shared WC.
Bedroom 4:
Double/twin bedroom on second floor with en-suite bathroom with WC and private balcony.
Bedroom 5:
Double/twin bedroom on second floor with separate bathroom with WC.
Bedrooms 6 & 7:
Double/twin bedrooms on ground floor with shared bathroom and shared WC. These bedrooms are located in an annexe apartment with separate entrance, lounge area and kitchenette.
Please note, for larger groups of up to 30 guests, Chalet Sarire can be rented with 5-bedroom Chalet Vanoise, located next door.

The bespoke service begins before you even arrive at Chalet Sarire. A pre-arrival menu consultation with your private chef ensures that any dietary requirements are taken on board, and any pet hates are avoided. Whether your party enjoys light, healthy meals, local specialities such as fondue, or spicy curries, the menu can be tailored to suit.
Start each morning with a hearty breakfast to fuel the day ahead, featuring freshly cooked options served five days a week. In the afternoon, return to enjoy freshly baked cakes or biscuits, a selection of breads and jams, and teas and coffees to warm you through.
Enjoy a delicious four-course dinner on six evenings, thoughtfully prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and accompanied by carefully selected house wines. For families travelling with children, an earlier kids’ dinner can be prepared at a time to suit them.
You’ll have Wednesday evening free to sample the local restaurants of Val d’Isère and your chalet host will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.
Family-friendly
An ideal mountain retreat for families, Chalet Sarire can easily accommodate sharing families, with space for everyone to relax. The dining area is separate from the living space, so it’s easy for kids to slope off to watch their favourite movie whilst the adults enjoy the dinner table chat. Early dinners can often be arranged for children; however, if this requires extended staffing hours, an additional charge may apply. Please speak with our team when booking so this can be tailored to suit your group’s needs.
Set in a quiet village, yet just five minutes from the centre of Val d’Isere, the chalet offers privacy and seclusion. There is a cable car nearby for easy access to the slopes, or the kids can be dropped off at their ski lessons thanks to the in-resort driver service.
Whatever arrangements you need to make, just speak to your host. Everything from organising ski passes and hiring equipment becomes child’s play. The only thing left for you to do is enjoy spending time with your family and friends, without all the usual hassles and logistical headaches.
