Contemporary and stylish, this luxury ski chalet in Verbier is something a bit special. Chalet Vicuña is a stunning property, located just moments from the slopes and the town centre, and with a character all of its own.

At the heart of the property is the double-height living area with vaulted ceilings, a statement chandelier and a roaring fire. From the velvet armchairs and huge sofas, you have a wonderful view of Verbier’s snowy treetops and rooftops. We can’t think of anywhere we would rather flop onto a sofa after an energetic morning’s ski.

In the adjacent dining space, a huge oak table makes for an elegant backdrop for delicious meals shared with family and friends, and mountain views bring plenty of atmosphere to any occasion. The cleverly designed kitchen allows you to close off part of the room as a chef’s kitchen, so all the magic happens behind closed doors, leaving the other half of the room for socialising at the large island with drinks.

After a busy day on the slopes, there’s plenty back home to keep everyone busy. The lower-ground floor is entirely given over to entertainment, with a state-of-the-art gym and a stunning spa, which incorporates a swimming pool with integrated hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Hammam. There’s also a treatment room where you can enjoy a pampering massage or facial in the afternoons. Alternatively, escape to the elegant cinema room with its white wraparound sofas and carved wood interior and catch a movie matinee with popcorn or a bottle from the adjacent bar, while the snow falls outside.

After a gourmet meal, and maybe a little dancing to make the most of the surround-sound system, retire to one of the six beautifully designed bedrooms, each with spa-style en-suite, bathrobes, slippers and everything else you might need for a comfortable night’s sleep. From the moment you pull back your curtains in the morning, to the second you close your eyes at night, you’ll be well looked after in this beautiful bolthole in the snow.

Chalet Vicuña is a luxury ski chalet in Verbier that boasts an excellent location, just a short drive from everything you need.

The property is just a three minute drive to the Savoleyres lift station, five minute drive to Le Rouge piste and seven minute drive to the Medran lift station. Place Centrale is also just five minutes’ drive away.

The nearest airport is Geneva, two hours away.

Eating

Good food and fine wines are a cornerstone of life at Chalet Vicuña. Your private chef will be on hand to prepare you a delicious breakfast each morning, to set you up for a day on Verbier’s slopes, and then leave out a warming afternoon tea for your return.

On six of seven evenings, dinner will also be served in your chalet. Your chef will work with you to create dishes that are just right for your party, whether that’s a seven-course tasting menu or some simple comfort food. Dinner is always accompanied by a selection of local wines.

On your chef’s day off, the chalet’s staff will be happy to help you with reserving the best tables in the best restaurants.

Should you prefer, Chalet Vicuña is also available on a self-catered basis to allow you to make the most of Verbier’s food scene.
