Locations don’t come much better than at this luxury ski-in/ski-out apartment, which sits directly on the slopes in St Anton. You can say goodbye to lengthy getting-around-resort transfers here. After tucking into a hearty breakfast – delivered to you each day – you’ll be able to head straight out on the slopes, with access to over 300km of pistes on your doorstep. You’re just a short walk from St Anton’s centre, too.

Marmotta Apartment 1’s design is a modern take on traditional alpine, with lots of wood featured throughout. Located on the ground floor of Chalet Golden Marmot, this apartment has easy access. You enter through the handy hallway into a light open-plan entertaining area with cosy lounging, dining and cooking zones. The compact kitchen is equipped with all mod cons so it’s easy to whip up meals, and you’ll find thoughtful extras such as a Nespresso machine and a SodaStream handy for spritzers and ice-cream sodas.

Each of the five bedrooms has its own en-suite bath or shower room for additional privacy. There are four restful double/twin rooms and a further bunk room sleeping four guests – ideal for kids or friends sharing. To keep you toasty, plush robes and slippers are provided. This luxury ski apartment in St Anton also comes with use of a sauna area (shared between three apartments) – it’s a bio-sauna, so you’ll find the perfect balance of heat and humidity. Other bonuses include access to table tennis to get the competitive juices flowing, a shared ski room and free underground parking for two cars.

Marmotta Apartment 1, 2 and 3 can be booked on an exclusive use basis with total accommodation for groups of up to 24 + 4 guests.

Eating

Marmotta Apartment 1 is offered on a B&B basis, with a fresh breakfast delivered to you each day to make sure you’re fuelled up for your time on the slopes. Tuck into the likes of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, yoghurts and jams, washed down with a glass of juice or a strong coffee.

After skiing straight back to your door, you’ll also return to a very welcome pick-me-up in the form of a delicious afternoon tea.

If you’re planning to self-cater, you’ll find everything you need in the apartment’s fully equipped kitchen and there’s space for all guests to eat around the dining table.

To make things even easier, a grocery shopping service, cooking boxes (with chef-prepared meals that you simply need to heat up), or a private chef can all be arranged on request.

There are plenty of options for dining out, both in St Anton’s resort centre and up the mountain. The concierge will gladly help with your restaurant reservations.

Kids

If you’re holidaying with children who are comfortable on skis, Marmotta Apartment 1’s brilliant ski-in/ski-out location removes a lot of the time and stress it can take to get out on the slopes.

When it comes to bedding down at night, the apartment’s bunk room, sleeping four, is a great option for kids sharing. Cots and highchairs will be provided if required. Kids can also make their own drinks with the SodaStream (it’s your choice whether that’s sparkling juice or ice-cream sodas).

If you’d like a few hours to relax, enjoy a grown-up meal out or go for a spot of child-free skiing, babysitting can be arranged through a babysitter service in town.
