The Loft is one of three luxury ski chalets that make up Chalet Val Gardena, part of the Rodella Hotel, a small, family-run hotel that really knows how to make the most of the wonderful surroundings and its spectacular situation.
The contemporary style of the apartment, with its light woods and neutral colour palette brings a really relaxing feel to the property. A lift services each floor of the building, so you can zip down to the Rodella’s wellness area whenever you feel the need, to enjoy the indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, two outdoor hot tubs, ice fountain, Finnish sauna, Hammam and relaxation area.
A ski and boot room means you can be measured up when you arrive and gives you somewhere to chuck all your ski gear the moment you return from the snow.
Everything you need is on hand and the hotel’s fabulous facilities are there for you whenever you want to enjoy them. But for moments when you just want to hide away with friends and family in a bolthole in the snow, The Loft is also ideal. Gather together in the cosy living space to chat, or enjoy some peaceful time alone out on the wraparound balconies, enjoying the spectacular views and mountain air. Catering
When you first walk through the door of this luxury ski apartment, Prosecco and canapés are already waiting for you, alongside a warm welcome and an introduction to the area.
In the mornings, there is a buffet breakfast as well as hot dishes to choose from, so you’ll go out onto the snow well fed and ready for anything. And when you return, afternoon tea will be ready and waiting to refuel you, whether you prefer sweet treats and cakes or a savoury platter.
A four-course dinner is offered on six evenings and orders are taken each morning for that evening. There’s an antipasto course, then a choice of two pasta or soup dishes, three main courses and a selection of delicious desserts to pick from. Your chef prepares all the food on the floor below the chalet, so you can enjoy complete privacy in the evenings, but still enjoy the great food and service you’d get in a top restaurant. Please note that drinks will be charged for separately.
A kitchenette means you can fix yourself tea and coffee or snacks whenever you wish. On your chef’s night off, your concierge will be happy to help with restaurant bookings, too.

Families are welcome at The Loft and each of the three bedrooms can be split into twins, making it easy to accommodate families with children.
After a busy morning at ski school, younger visitors are sure to enjoy splashing in the hotel’s indoor/outdoor swimming pool in the shared spa and wellness area.
The hotel staff will do all they can to ensure your family break goes without a single hitch, whether that’s arranging skiing lessons or sorting outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained.
Nannies and babysitters can be arranged on request.
Location & Distances
The Loft is located just a 3 mins drive from the Col Raiser cable car, 4 mins to Ciampinoi lift and 6 mins from the Danterceppies cable car station, so a wealth of skiing is right on your doorstep.
Selva village itself is a 3 mins drive or a 20 mins walk away, and a shuttle service is available each day to whisk you wherever you want to go in the resort.
The nearest airport is Innsbruck, approximately 1 hour 40 mins away.
