EnquireLuxury Ski Chalets » Summer
We have over 400 luxury chalets in the Alps available for summer holidays, which is just over half of our full chalet portfolio, because some chalets are only available for ski trips. Most of our summer chalets have hot tubs, and more than 40 have outdoor swimming pools. We plan a growing number of summer stays in the Alps for our clients each year, so we know the best spots for hiking, biking and beyond. Each chalet is frequently inspected to ensure top-quality facilities, service, and design.
There may be snow in our chalets’ photos, if taken in winter to advertise ski trips. Daytime temperatures in the Alps from June to September average 20°C to 30°C, so you can expect sun instead of snow.

Our prices show the range from the low season to the high season. If the property has catering options, the low price is for the lowest level e.g. self-catered, and the high price is for the highest level e.g. catered.
Each property has different high and low seasons. The general pattern is:
Chalets
Low season is usually early/mid-December, mid-January, and summer.
Mid season is usually early February, March and April.
High season is usually Xmas, New Year and mid/end February.
European Villas
Low season is usually April, May and October.
Mid season is usually June and September.
High season is usually July and August.
Caribbean Villas
Low season is usually June to November.
Mid season is usually November to mid-December and mid-April to June.
High season is usually mid-December to mid-April.
Luxury chalets are more popular in winter, especially around Christmas and New Year, when they become safe havens for skiers. However, there is a rapidly growing demand for our chalets in summer. The biggest draw for renting our luxury chalets in summer instead of winter is the great range of activities on offer in the Alps in summer. Browse the finest luxury summer chalets below, or check out our luxury winter chalets instead.
Skiing and snowboarding are replaced by road and mountain biking. Cross-country skiing waits for snow to fall, while hikers take to the trails and explore the lush mountain landscapes. Paragliding around the valleys is always breathtaking, but those breaths are a lot warmer in July than in January. Cable cars in most resorts are open for both the warmest and snowiest months, making it easy to pop up to mountaintop restaurants.
We have included all our chalets from resorts that are great in summer in this category. That means that you can be sure that the lifts, restaurants, bars and shops will be open, the atmosphere will be lively, and you’ll have plenty of activities and events to choose from. Choose one of Firefly Collection’s extensive portfolio of luxury chalets for summer holidays to have a summer Alpine adventure that’s better than any other.
The best resorts to visit in summer are: Andermatt in Switzerland. Chamonix in France. Chatel in France. Crans-Montana in Switzerland. The Dolomites in Italy. Gstaad in Switzerland. Lech in Austria. Leogang in Austria. Les Gets in France. Megeve in France. Morzine in France. St Anton in Switzerland. St Moritz in Switzerland. Verbier in Switzerland. Zermatt in Switzerland. You’ll find the best chalets from each here.
