Description
Chalet Aster in Courchevel 1650 is a fabulous bolthole for a large group of friends or family. The open-plan living space is light and airy in the daytime with views of the mountains, and then at night time it’s transformed into a cosy mountain nook, with capacious sofas to curl up in and a roaring fire.
For many, the most appealing aspect of Chalet Aster is its location. Ski straight from the door out onto the crisp fresh snow every morning for that ‘top of the world’ feeling. And at the end of the day, just take the lift up for one last run, remembering where to leave the piste so you can make a spectacular stop in front of the balcony. Just down the hill is the attractive village of Courchevel 1650, with its charming shops, restaurants and bars.
If you love the ski heaven that is the Trois Vallees but hanker after a quieter alternative to flamboyant Courchevel 1850, then Chalet Aster is a winner. Set the kids up with a DVD in the downstairs cinema room while you enjoy a glass of champagne in the outdoor hot tub surrounded by snowy peaks, or you might prefer the Hammam or sauna indoors to relax. When your whole group come together there’s no better place to head than the games room and bar to enjoy some in-house après-ski.
Then it’s off to bed. Each of the luxury en-suite bedrooms is decked out beautifully with luxury linens, bathrobes, slippers hairdryers and anything else you could need to make your own little home from home.
