Chalet Selva is part of the boutique Hotel Rodella, a small, family-run hotel. This two-bedroom apartment is designed to make your holiday as stress-free as possible, with lots of thoughtful additions to ensure everything you need is to hand, and all the convenience of hotel living there for the taking, too.

Light woods and a natural colour palette throughout give the whole chalet a really laid-back, modern rustic feel, and light seems to flood into the cosy living space and convivial dining area.

Of an evening, while your chef is preparing something special for you, don’t miss the chance to spend a few moments alone on the balcony enjoying the fabulous views and crisp mountain air. A few gulps of the stuff and you’re guaranteed to sleep like a baby in Chalet Selva’s super-comfy and spacious luxury beds.

Then there’s a ski and boot room where you’ll be measured up as soon as you arrive and where you can throw all your damp ski gear at the end of each day and get on with the important business of chilling out at Chalet Selva. A lift goes between each floor of the building, so you can be whisked up to your apartment.

There’s an exclusive spa for guests of the hotel, with indoor/outdoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tubs, Finnish sauna, Hammam and a relaxation area. You can easily while away entire afternoons down here, relaxing.

Location

Chalet Selva is located just a 3 mins drive from the Col Raiser cable car, 4 mins to Ciampinoi lift and 6 mins from the Danterceppies cable car station, so a wealth of skiing is right on your doorstep.

The village of Selva itself is a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk away, and a shuttle service is available each day to whisk you wherever you want to go in the resort.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck, approximately 1 hour 40 mins away.

Eating

Food and drink are a central pillar of life at Chalet Selva. When you arrive, Prosecco and canapés are ready and waiting for you and your butler will be on hand to welcome you and give you a brief introduction to the area and all there is to do here.

Each morning there is a selection of hot dishes to choose from, with a breakfast buffet to set you up for a day’s adventures on the slopes. And then when you return and kick off your skis, there’s afternoon tea with sweet or savoury treats, waiting to warm you through.

A four-course dinner is offered on six evenings and orders are taken each morning for that evening. There’s an antipasto course, then a choice of two pasta or soup dishes, three main courses and a selection of delicious desserts to pick from. Your meals will be prepared in the hotel’s professional kitchen, then brought up and served in the privacy of your own apartment by your dedicated butler. Please note that drinks will be charged for separately.

A kitchenette is well equipped so you can make yourself tea and coffee or snacks whenever you wish. On your chef’s night off, you can eat in the Hotel Rodella’s dining room or your concierge will be happy to help with restaurant bookings, too.
