Villa Cambria is a real retreat; secluded and quiet and with everything you could need on site. Lovers of the outdoors will never tire of wandering through the tropical-style gardens, enjoying the vineyards and nature trails. The villa also boasts its very own private equestrian yard with four horses available for guests to ride, at additional cost, under supervision of the villa’s ‘horse whisperer’.

There is also a recently renovated artists’ studio, with four en-suite bedrooms, where you can take private cooking or art classes. Additionally, you can enjoy a relaxing stretch in the yoga studio to unwind.

However, for those who prefer to take their rest and relaxation a little more slowly, Villa Cambria comes up trumps. Lounge on the outdoor beds by the swimming pool, curl up with a book in the garden chairs, or simply sit at the alfresco dining table over long lunches and many a bottle of wonderful local wine, catching up with friends and family.

Four luxury bedrooms with spa-style en-suites in the main part of the villa and another four in the artist’s studio give everyone plenty of room to themselves. But there’s lots of communal space here too, with contemporary and airy living and dining spaces where you can gather to eat and relax, as well as a fabulous kitchen with bar adjacent to the cooking island so you can watch your chef at work over a glass of wine.

If you do decide to venture out of your luxury villa, you’ll want to make the most of the stunning beaches on your doorstep as well as experience the bustle of glamorous Saint Tropez, whether to shop alongside the town’s famous visitors or to people-watch from its boutique bars. Location

Villa Cambria is set within a private 200 hectares estate just outside Saint Tropez itself in the La Mole region.

The property is approximately 15 minutes drive of Pampelonne beach and Plage des Jumeaux and a similar distance to Port de Saint Tropez with its plethora of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Slightly closer, Pearl and Key West beaches are approximately a 10 minutes drive away.

Rooms

Villa Cambria sleeps 16 guests in eight bedrooms across the main villa and separate studio.

Main villa:

Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and TV.

Bedrooms 2 & 3: Double bedrooms with queen-size beds, en-suite shower rooms and air-conditioning.

Bedroom 4: Double/twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and air-conditioning.

Artist’s studio:

Bedrooms 5 – 8: Double/twin en-suite bedrooms with air-conditioning and TVs.

Eating

You’ll be well fed and watered here at every stage. A private Michelin-trained chef will be on hand six days out of seven to create menus tailored to your party.

Each morning, a cooked and continental breakfast is served to begin your day in a leisurely fashion. By lunchtime, when the gardens are at their best, you’ll enjoy an alfresco meal out in the sunshine. Then, in the evenings, you’ll begin with drinks and canapés, followed by a four-course gourmet meal, finishing with a platter of local cheeses.

Local wines flow freely throughout your stay and the villa comes with fully stocked snacks and drinks fridges so there’s something to keep you going at any time of day.

Any dietary requirements, or even simple whims are taken into consideration and your chef will be happy to arrange dedicated kids’ meals in the early evening to appeal to younger palates, too.

Staff will be happy to recommend restaurants and make bookings for your chef’s day off.

Kids

Younger visitors will love the location of this luxury villa, being less than 15 minutes drive from four wonderful beaches. It’s also set within 200 hectares of private land, on a gated estate, so there’s plenty of room to roam safely outdoors and lots of space to run and play.

Kids of all ages will love the outdoor swimming pool, with room for everyone to splash happily. And for children that like a more active holiday, the artists’ studio building in the grounds can be used for all sorts of activities, from cookery lessons to art workshops.

The private riding stables house four horses, where hacks and riding lessons can be arranged under supervision of the villa’s ‘horse whisperer’.

The villa’s staff are on hand to help arrange kids’ meals, entertainment, childcare and whatever you need to ensure your holiday is fun for little ones and stress-free for parents.
