Villa Skyline is a spacious, airy and contemporary property with a stylish interior designed around white walls and exposed brick for a modern rustic feel that encourages everyone to relax. The communal rooms offer you all a place to sprawl in comfort and each of the airy bedrooms is a cool and restful bolthole to retreat to at the end of the evening, with crisp, cotton sheets, fluffy towels and spa-style bathrooms.

But undoubtedly, it’s the outdoor spaces at this property that make it really magical. The fabulous L-shaped pool is shielded by trees and sun loungers, which have sea views, as well as a heated shower for afterwards before you dry off in the sun with a book. There are also numerous alfresco areas, sitting spaces and chill-out zones dotted about all over the gardens, so everyone can find their own space to relax together or enjoy a little peace.

Just a short drive from historic Corfu Town as well as numerous beautiful sandy beaches, this perfectly placed piece of paradise is a wonderful spot from which to get to know the whole island better.

Location

This luxury villa on Corfu is tucked away in an exclusive private estate amid lush gardens, fruit trees and flowering shrubs, with 180-degree views of the sea. Villa Skyline is in the quiet village of Kyra Chrysikou in the Kontokali/Gouvia area, and from here it’s less than an hour’s drive to anywhere on the island.

There are many excellent restaurants, golf clubs, water clubs and more within a few minutes’ drive of the property. Corfu Town itself, with its plethora of boutique shops, bars and restaurants, is just a 10 minute drive away. And the villa’s staff will be happy to help organise anything you wish, from restaurant tables to island adventures on Paxos and Antipaxos.

Villa Skyline sleeps 8 guests across four bedrooms.

Bedroom 1:
Master bedroom with king size bed, walk-in wardrobe, fireplace, sea views and en-suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower.

Bedroom 2:
Double/twin bedroom with sea view, separate bathroom with walk-in rain shower. Interconnecting with bedroom 3.

Bedroom 3:
Double bedroom with sea view, separate bathroom with bathtub equipped with rain shower. Interconnecting with bedroom 2.

Bedroom 4:
Double/twin bedroom with garden/entrance view, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with walk-in rain shower.

All bedrooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, bathrobes and luxury toiletries.

Eating

Delicious drinks and canapés are served on arrival to start your holiday off on the right note.  A pre-arrival grocery shop can be arranged to be delivered and unpacked ahead of your arrival. If you wish, you can hire a private chef for the duration of your stay, too.

The kitchen is very well equipped if you wish to self-cater, with everything from an espresso machine to icemaker. The grounds have a barbecue and lots of outdoor dining areas, perfect for a breakfast in the fresh air, an alfresco lunch or a dinner under the stars.

There are several excellent restaurants locally in Kontokali and Gouvia, but if you want to head further afield, we like the Corfu Sailing Restaurant at The Old Fortress for traditional dishes in a historic setting on the water’s edge.

Kids

Children are very warmly welcomed at Villa Skyline and it’s easy for parents to relax here in this safe, gated development, off the beaten track.

Young travellers are sure to love the fabulous L-shaped pool with plenty of room to splash. There’s plenty of room to play in the lush grounds too! Inside, a kids’ sitting area with PlayStation and board games, as well as table tennis, will keep older kids busy in the early evenings while the grown-ups gather together over drinks.

Cots and high chairs can be provided on request and the villa’s staff will be happy to organise nannies and babysitters for you.
