Thinking of a luxury ski chalet holiday, we think of a bubbling, steaming hot tub with snowflakes falling all around. After a long day on the mountain, there is no better way to relax and refresh weary, achy legs than a massage from the hot water jets in your luxury ski chalet’s hot tub. Add in a spectacular view of the mountains and a glass of your preferred beverage, and there are few finer moments in life.
After a long day of skiing, nothing beats heading back to your luxury ski chalet with a hot tub and easing into the bubbling, steaming water as snowflakes fall all around. For the brave, it’s always fun to hop out of the hot tub, roll in the snow, then hop back into the hot tub! Be big kids and see who can stand in the snow the longest, before diving back into the perfectly heated tub for another round of relaxation.
Our luxury ski chalets with hot tubs include chalets with indoor hot tubs and chalets with outdoor hot tubs. There are pros and cons of both, but for me, outdoor hot tubs are unbeatable. There is something special about sitting in the hot water whilst the outside temperature is cold. It is even better when there is fresh snow on the ground and falling all around. It’s indescribably magical.
Many luxury ski chalets have jacuzzis and indoor hot tubs, often in designated spa areas. These sanctuaries of relaxation give lucky guests a warm, protected environment to take a soak in restorative waters. This can be a better option if you have younger children, as it avoids the need to go outside in the cold, which they might not find fun.
