Getting to Meribel

Geneva and Lyon airports are approximately a 2 hour drive away. The nearest airport is Chambery, which is 1 hour and 20 minutes away.

With such an enormous ski area at your ski tips, there are plenty of runs for all levels of skier, from gentle wide-open cruising blues to challenging blacks and punishing moguls. There is so much to choose from, enough to keep most skiers occupied for their whole skiing career. To the left on the piste map, you have the Courchevel villages and La Tania. To the right of Meribel on the piste map, you can venture across to Val Thorens and Saint Martin-de-Belleville.

Although Meribel itself is only at an altitude of 1450m, the vast majority of runs are above 1800m, so later on in the season you’ll still have access to the very best snow!
