The villa is accessed only by boat so you are master of your own domain here. And what a domain it is. The property is one of the most beautiful on the lake with truly stunning gardens. Wander among floodlit cypresses by night, listening to the rhythmic lapping of the lake and the occasional sound of diners and promenaders drifting across from the eastern shore, or take a dip in the infinity pool.

Inside the aqua-shuttered villa, Sienna marble floors and a sweeping staircase welcome you. A formal drawing room and dining room on this floor are furnished with exquisite Italian antiques and handmade soft furnishings. Upstairs, the living room and library offer a more casual space in which to relax.

The light and airy bedrooms all have stunning views that are a joy to wake to each morning. Each is beautifully furnished and has its own TV and DVD player. A further two bedrooms and well-appointed living quarters are to be found in the nearby Terrace House, which boasts panoramic lake views. A separate building to house the cinema and gym means everyone will have plenty of space to indulge their own hobbies and get a bit of me-time.

Surrounded by striking cypress trees, this villa offers a private sort of paradise you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the world.

Location

Villa Cassandra is located on the western shore of Lake Como, approximately 20km from Como town and is only accessable by boat.

The nearest airports are in Milan, just over 1 hour away. There is a private airport 45 minutes away at Lugano and helicopters can land not far from the villa itself.

Launch transfers are also available from Como or Cernobbio which are 30 minutes away.

Villa Cassandra sleeps up to 17 people in nine rooms across the main villa and terrace house.

Bedroom one

Bedroom three
Double bedroom with king-sized or twin beds, en-suite bathroom and fireplace.

Bedroom four

Bedroom five
Double bedroom with king-sized or twin beds, separate bathroom, fireplace and high ceilings.

Bedroom six
Double bedroom with king-sized or twin beds, en-suite bathroom, office and living area.

Bedroom seven
Single bedroom connected to bedroom six with a shared en-suite bathroom. This room is most suited as a nursery or as a staff bedroom for a nanny.

Terrace House

This lakeside house situated a short walk through the villa gardens has two floors. Downstairs there is a fully-equipped kitchen, living room/dining room, fireplace and large patio.

On the second level there are two double bedrooms with king-sized or twin beds and two bathrooms.

There is additional accommodation for staff in the boat house.

Eating

Your private chef at Villa Cassandra will be pleased to cater to you and your party’s preferences and you will be waited on hand and foot by the villa butler.

There are plenty of spots to enjoy a meal at this luxury villa from alfresco dining with views over the lake to the grand dining room indoors.

Kids

The lakeside location offers lots of fun for children. Older ones might enjoy boating, canoeing or even waterskiing or knee-boarding. Horse-riding, nature trails, rock-climbing and many more activities can also be arranged. The infinity pool is always popular with kids of all ages, too.

The villa’s private cinema room will keep them entertained in the evenings. Why not put on a movie night for the kids while the adults enjoy lingering over their dinner?

Nannies can be arranged in order that younger children can be left at the villa while you enjoy an evening out in any of the nearby towns. There are also cribs, high chairs and baby toys on request.
